Good for a total beginner
I have enjoyed this author's other books - his knowledge and attitude are both wonderful. I was a bit disappointed with this book, though. If you are completely new to gardening, or at least to container gardening, this book would be a good choice for you. It consolidates a lot of information that you might otherwise have to gather piecemeal from other books or articles. But, if you have already made some progress on your own, there may not be enough new information to justify buying the book.
