About the Author
Robyn Johnson's many years as a senior art director working on various high-profile fashion accounts served her in good stead in the writing and illustration of The Enchanted Dolls' House. But even more important were her two "wonderfully critical" daughters, Holly and Darcy, with whom she lives in Melbourne, Australia. She is currently finishing a second title about Albert and Lucinda's romance, The Enchanted Dolls' Wedding.

Great gift especially for Christmas
There is so much detail in this book, and it is not only for children. Anyone interested in history, romance, dolls' houses and fashion in particular will spend hours of delight as they take an absorbing journey through the pages and pop up dolls' houses.

Beautiful Eye Candy Throughout
Adventure & Romance in Four Period Dollhouses: A Medieval Dollhouse; An 18th Century Neoclassical Dollhouse, A late Victorian Dollhouse, An early 20th Century Dollhouse. 32 pages. The 4 pages of houses are the fronts of the houses that pop forward (that is the 3D). You look in through the windows and doors and see the interior. Very interesting, very creative, and great for the imagination.

A wonderful future heirloom
This is a beautifully detailed pop-up with lots of interesting facts and pictures. It would make a great gift for a daughter or granddaughter who loved dolls and dollhouses. The details are amazing.
