About the Author
Shawn Rogers was born and raised in Eagle River, Alaska. She is a bear enthusiast and spent several summers helping visitors around Katmai National Park. She and her husband have a home in Anchorage, Alaska where Shawn shares her love of stories and art with their three little cubs.

Great story, cute art work and reinforces a lesson too!
This is a cute little children's book - the story is fun to read (even if it is over and over again!), the art work is so unique in that it was created out of construction paper cut-outs - lots of great colors and the expressions on the cubs faces thoughout the book are just great!

This story also helps to reinforce a great lesson to young children about getting parental permission before doing things ... just an all around great book. I highly recommend it to anyone with children between the ages of 2-8, to be read to or to read to themselves!
