Says "New Editon" but appears to be photocopy of 1921 edition - and bad typos on covers
I bought this "New Edition" of Caussade to get one in modern English. But when the book came it appears to be an exact photocopy of a 1921 version. The type is old looking and the English is not very accessible to modern readers. Moreover, there is a very bad typo on the cover, "...de Caussades hook (book) ..." and another on the back cover ("... solve diffietdties (difficulties) ..."! It is good to have the letters of Caussade which are included in this edition, but I feel cheated.

Abandonment to Divine Providence
For anyone interested - SERIOUSLY interested - in true Christian discipleship, this is a must-read. Some people get it, and when they put it in writing, they get it as right as right can be. It is apparent to me that Fr. Caussade has a close relationship with our Lord and Savior, and understands His directive about making a disciple of all nations.
