Practical Help and Hope5
This book is easy to read and has practical help for women who are on their own - widows, divorcees, never married singles, and moms who are running everything while their husband is away in war or on business. I heard about the book on a radio program while driving in the car. I was pleasantly surprised that it was not technical at all. I have shared it with other women who are finding it useful in whatever circumstance they happen to be in.

Good Advice About How To Be Our Best Selves4
This short book is really helpful in dealing with attitudes (mine!) when you're a single mother. As a busy single mom raising two sons, I enjoyed reading some key advice --- like stay humble, be teachable, keep your cool. Somehow I need those reminders: this book was full of that kind of advice.
I would love to see this be a longer book but it's valuable and useful help.
