A must have for anyone buying a new house or redoing the one they have5
I sure wish I had known about this book when I moved into my house! As a Navy wife in my early years, I used sheets as curtains and was glad to see this book telling what a wonderful window treatment sheets could provide. Me --- I just used them because they were inexpensive and when we moved on, I could use them on the bed!!!

Flat Panels, Pocket Panels, Tab-Top Panels, Pleated Panels (wow! Lots of kinds of panels!), Roman Shades, Swags or Box Pleats, this book tells you how to do them all. With all the color photos and instructions on how to create each, you can't miss. French doors, bay windows, kitchen windows, bedroom window, square or windows with half moons on top, you will find a window treatment that is perfect for yours. There is even a section on finishing touches - meaning the tie-backs.

Another section discusses drapery basics such as the different rings and tapes to use when creating your new treatments. The instructions show you how to measure your windows to get the fit right. If you are planning on a complete room redo, the photos show lots of different colors to give you an idea of what wall colors to put with your curtains With 38 pages of different ways to cover your windows, you will definitely be able to find one to fit your room(s).
