Easy projects and great for beginners
Are you someone who wants to learn to sew? Do you have a child or grandchild you would like to teach how to sew? 1 - 2 - 3 - SEW is the place to start.

This book begins by going over all the tools such as scissors and seam rippers you will need to sew. Then it discusses the biggest tool - sewing machines. Of course, it discusses fabrics as they are the medium you will be using to create your sewing projects. Needles and thread are explained - there are a lot of different kinds so be sure to read which is best for what you plan to sew.

Sewing 101 is an overview of the basics things you will be doing to create a project. Finishing details, binding it, trim and piping basics are also included. A full page is devoted to sewing terms. You won't be able to read the instructions if you don't know the basic terms used.

Now comes the fun part --- the projects. There are pillows, bags, table and window coverings, coverings for books and boxes, a table topper and best of all - a bed for your favorite pal (whether that is a dog or cat!).
