A must have
Great book. I Bought the other book "math strategies" which is a total waste of money, but "advanced math wb" is amazing. If you are only AVERAGE at math this book is great at getting you a few extra points in the Quat. section. If you are amazing at math I would think this book would help perfect your abilities. To be honest I was only able to do about 60% of the problems in this book but by simply reading through the "extra tough" questions and "trying" them out I LEARNED so much, when I went through the OG my percentage of correct answers in PS went up dramatically!! I wish I had bought the "basic" workbook weeks ago to work through, but alas my test is next week and I have NO time. If you are math challenged I suggest buying the basic and advanced workbooks, and which ever subject you struggle most with (applied, geometry, etc) to help your score. By seeing the "intense" math questions in this books, it makes the gmat questions seem more achievable! GOOD LUCK!

Makes OG seem like a walk in the park
The exercises in this book are nothing like I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot: Barrons, Kaplan OG, Princeton Review. I have them all and this book has some serious mathematics. If you can do the exercises in here, you will breeze through the exam.

Warning: Not for the numerically challenged.

Good book for GMAT math practice!
This is a great book and I would highly recommend buying the EZ GMAT Advanced WB if:
(a) you are already completely well-versed with all the math concepts, and
(b) you are already scoring about 700 level and just need more practice with difficult math problems.

If not, do not buy this book as this can greatly discourage you and throw you off tandem. You should first use the EZ GMAT Basic WB to see your weaknesses and accordingly buying the other content area books such as the EZ arithmetic, algebra, application, geometry, word problems, and logic & stats, or probably all of these (if cost is not an object). The review books contain each and every math concept that you need to know. If you have all 9 EZ GMAT books, that's all you need, nothing else.
