Great Self Affirmation Book for Toddlers
This book is great for reading to infants and toddlers. The rhyming and fun pictures keep their attention, and the message is terrific and affirming as well. My 20 month old has loved this since we got it for him at a year old. I will be adding this to my "go-to-gift" arsenal as a christening/baptism gift.
Different versions?
I stumbled across this while searching for a baptism gift, and I liked it a lot. For one thing, it can be read immediately to infants/young children in faith traditions where baptism occurs, unlike many children's Bibles, which are written for slightly older children. For another, it emphasized God knowing all aspects of a child - I believe sweet and smelly were examples. What puzzled me, though, was that when I looked at two different copies of the book in the store (same cover, same UPC code) their inside text was different! Perhaps someone else can explain this.
