The Fighter that Saved England
This is a wonderful reprint of the RAF manual of the Spitfire. It is the actual book that the fliers used. If you are a writer of military history of the air war over Europe during World war II you need to acquire this title.
Reading the pages I can hear the sound of its engines and of the men who took to the skies in them. They are leaving us at the rate of 3,000 @ week. Don't forget what they all did in the air, land and sea.
