The best miniatures book EVER !!!!!
This stunning book has absolutely EVERYTHING to help you create, not only the best looking dolls house dolls I have ever seen, but also a fabulous bridal salon, and totally awesome little accessories such as lingerie, floral arrangements and even wedding cakes that look good enough to eat!

What's makes this book better than every other doll-dressing book out there is that you can mix and match the dresses to suit whatever you want to do. You can even make them ball dresses if you want! The possibilities are endless.

I simply can't recommend this book more - the dresses are awe-inspiring and you don't even have to be a whizz with a needle and thread to make some of them as there are some gowns for total beginners (like me!) and others for those who are more experienced. My personal favourite is the totally divine Crystal Snowflake gown!

The bridal salon the author has made is simply gorgeous and I couldn't believe how easy it looks to put together - in fact, I can't wait to start!

This book is an absolute "must have" for anyone fanatical about weddings AND anyone who wants to dress dolls to make all your friend green with envy!!!

PS - The first review of this book is very misleading and extremely bizarre - to say the least. The book is CLEARLY for dolls house enthusiasts, and it in no way professes to give information on wedding celebrations. The setting is the totally awesome bridal salon which is plainly obvious to anyone who reads the book's contents BEFORE buying.

Somewhat misleading
This is a very nice book is you are into dolls. There are lots of pretty pictures and good directions. More than a third of it's content is devoted to making doll dresses. If you count the many pages included that cover the bride's accessories (shoes, bouquet, champayne glass, veil; that sort of thing), then I would state that the majority of the book is about the doll. There is very little on the settings for weddings.

I purchased this book because of an interest in the wedding celebration itself...(groom's dinner, bridal shower, differing wedding event styles for examples). All this book offers are two settings. One is a courtyard, the other a garden. Neither one of these sparse and juvenille dioramas proved to be inspirational from my point of view.

If you are looking for ideas for making roomboxes showcasing a wedding celebration, don't bother with this book.

Miniature Doll Maker
I have been making and dreessing dollhouse dolls for over 10 years. Patterns and information is quite scarce for this hobby. This book has many patterns which can be used for so many different outfits. There are also patterns for unlimited accessories. Let your imagination be your guide and this book will reward you with much creative satisfaction.
