Embroideres silk ribbon treasures5
This is indeed a treasure trove of rich fabric and texture, not to mention the most exquisite concoction of elegant gifts decorated with the silk ribbon technique. The directions are so clear. The book is gorgeous. Aboslutely a wonderful source for gifts.

Not a teaching book.1
I looked forward to receiving this book but am really disappointed . There are several pretty projects but very little in the way of teaching embroidery. Nine pages of the book cover different stitches. These are mostly described by word. Each of these nine pages has a vague drawing or two. There is one drawing for each stitch. Ten different stitches are covered, mostly regular embroidery stitches such as French knot, stem stitch and feather stitch . If you are looking for a book to teach you Silk Ribbon Embroidery stitches look elsewhere

I bought this book because I had originally borrowed a copy from the library and was interested in the content. The patterns are good and the colour pictures are excellant.
