Editorial Reviews
From Publishers Weekly
Not for the meek or the overly neat, all of the 80-plus activities in Nancy Blakey's Lotions, Potions, and Slime: Mudpies and More, the third installment in the Mudpies series, are geared for home or outdoor play, and involve creating some degree of mess. Make fake blood, an underwater volcano or a Mighty Mold Garden. Hungry? Cook up some Wiggly Jiggly Gelatin Eggs or some Crash Cookies ("knead, squeeze, squish and rub everything together for as long as you want"). With black-and-white line drawings by Melissah Watts. (Tricycle, $8.95 paper, 120p ages 2-12 ISBN 1-883672-21-X Mar.)

Customer Reviews
A great resource for adventurous parents and teachers!
Gail Blakey's book is a goldmine for parents, grandparents and teachers alike. It offers activities that motivate a child to wonder about scientific principal or merely to brighten up a rainy day. This book offers many different types of activities from cooking activities to art projects and just about everything in between.
Useful for Parents and Teachers alike!
I just got this put previewed it from our local library. I made for my son's preschool last week the Silly Slime and the directions where straightforward and worked perfectly! The children enjoyed the result as well. This book and others in this series provide ample ideas and recipes for a preschool environment or home--- It is also a nice small size so easy to take with or keep handy.
