A dud for me
I purchased these bells thinking the idea was good, water would change the tones of the chimes and I would hear plenty of beautiful music. What I found was that the chimes rarely made any noise. There just wasn't enough wind down low to make them move. I returned them to the store. A much better bet are the traditional woodstock chimes which get plenty of breeze and have simply phenomenal tone.

A Delight in my Garden
I LOVE my garden bells! They make my garden sound as pretty as it looks. I enjoy hearing the gentle notes as I work in my garden. I followed the directions to adjust the bells for the wind in my area. The bells have done well in light summer breezes and survived well our nasty winter weather. One of my friends lined his entire garden path with a dozen garden bells. It is awesome - both in sight and sound. Gardens bells are a great and different gift for gardeners.

don't bother
I thought this would be a great gift for my father in law who has a pond and loves to tend to it. We tried for hours to get them to blow in the wind and make some noise but the only time they do is when you push them. They have been by the pond for almost a year now and they mostly just collect rain water.
