The Dutton-Lainson Medium Duty Pulling Winch is best suited for horizontal pulling applications which require the free-wheeling feature of ratchet type winches. Standard equipment includes a 9-1/2-inch mill edge steel handle with ergonomic grip. Specifications include a 4.5:1 single gear ratio, two-way ratchet with off position, a rated capacity of 1400 pounds and a maximum mechanical advantage of 76. Laminated, high carbon steel gears provide for a longer life. The gears are arc-welded and the drive shaft gears are copper brazed for durability. Made in the USA, this winch comes with a limited 5 year warranty. Dutton-Lainson has a 114 year history of manufacturing quality products.
