Mad Catz Memory Card
Mine works just as good as my friends Sony brand memory card. You have to sit down with a stop watch to tell if there is any difference in loading and saving times because it is that minimal of a difference. It is a little more resistant when taking it out of the PS2, but not enough to make it a problem. Unless you just want to spend extra money for a name, I would recommend this memory card.

this memory card is just like the one made by sony..oh wait..sony tested this one too! only 29.99 with a better looking card with a case.the sony one doesnt come with it. oh yeah, that person that posted the review about not liking it...he put the card in a playstation console which you cant do, no wonder his playstation broke. this is only for the ps2
This card is almost the same as the Sony version
OK, No matter what anyone says, this card is seemingly the same as a Sony official card. Usually, I don't get anything but 1st Party Accessories for my PS1 and Dreamcast and when I got this for my birthday, I was somewhat angry. But, when I opened it and found that it had the MagicGate technology, and was licenced by Sony, I was relieved. The card uses the same encryption technology as the official card, costs less, and comes with a plastic carrying case (probably because if you have a game like MGS2 with a memory card holder in the case, the card won't fit.) and the card is a transparent blue on top, which seems to be a popular color for a memory card.
All in all, this card is perfectly good to buy, and for all those weary of a 3rd Party Card, forget about your worries, this card is great.
