Sauder Closits Units...5
I LOVE these units! The open cube, the 2-drawer cube, the large storage & the 2-drawer large storage units... I own 'em all.

Although the maple & white units are usually marketed as 'Closet Storage' units, I have them in my living room as end tables & a coffee table.

I'd been looking for ages for end tables for my tuxedo style sofa/loveseat... with their arms the same height as the back I needed "tables" that were taller than most end tables. These units fit the bill perfectly and I love the maple finish... a very neutral "cool" (as in a pale wheat, rather than a warm yellow wood tone) tone that off-sets my charcoal grey upholstered furniture very nicely.

Putting the units together was easy; I put together nine units in less than four hours. Everything necessary to put them together came w/ the units. I added a tich of carpenter's glue to the edges as a "can't hurt, might help" measure. The units are extremely sturdy and the drawer units are very smooth in operation even though I've stuffed them.

If you have an unusual corner or two, or wish you could design your own storage unit, or if you need temporary storage that doesn't look like crud, these units are just what you need.

You can buy "feet" for these units, but they're plastic and not nearly strong enough to support the units if you plan on moving them while filled.

To make my coffee table, I stacked a 2-drawer storage unit centered on the top of one of the large storage units and I put four heavy duty castors (from Home Depot) on the bottom of the large storage unit... it's perfect!
