typical V&B charm, though not an "everyday" piece
We received this creamer as a wedding gift 2 1/2 years ago and I am afraid to admit that I have never used it in all that time. We are not big coffee drinkers in my household and the size of this piece prevents it from being used as a wannabe gravy boat, etc. That said, I can certainly see the value in adding this piece to your Switch 3 collection, especially if you think you will get use from it.
Despite not being a piece that everyone would use on a daily basis, it is not without merit. There are three things I love about this piece:
1) it is dishwasher and microwave safe
2) it's style is very table-friendly and is appropriate for both laid-back family dinners and formal entertaining
3) it is durable - this piece fell off the counter when we unpacked after moving (we have cats!) and the piece survived unscathed without losing it's handle or suffering even a chip!

It would be helpful if Amazon would include a photo of the item that I just reviewed, especially since there are other items of different price listed with the same name offered by a different vender. For more info, please see my other review of the "same" item (presumably the same item anyway!)
