Salty and metallic taste
This is a thick mole paste that you'd thin down with hot water to make mole sauce. I got one jar of it at the grocery store and found it to be too salty for my taste and it had a bit of a metallic aftertaste. That could be an off jar, but the saltiness turned me off from it. There are better canned/jarred moles out there.
Dona Maria Mexican Mole Sauce
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son-in-law. He loves it. If he likes it, that's good enough for me.
