Watch out! Roughly finished, and NOT RETURNABLE!!
I bought this nail clipper set for my husband for Christmas. They are not finished smoothly at blade end. When you try to get the fingernail in the clipper, it won't go in because the end of the blade is not polished, it is rather rough.

My husband has had a stroke, and his right hand doesn't work very well. He cannot hand onto these very easily, and since the blade is rough, it makes it impossible for him to use them without hurting himself.

I decided to return them to Brookstone, but when I finished my 20-minute wait on hold for a CSR, I was informed that they are not returnable because they are a personal item. That information should be on the Amazon page by the description! They say it is in their return policy, but I say it would have been a deal-breaker when I was shopping on Amazon if I had known that in advance. If this nail clipper set was $6 or $7, I could accept this. But they are $40!!! That information should be up front on such a pricey item.

I am disappointed with the quality of the item, and even more with Brookstone. This is my last purchase from Brookstone.
