Nice Fan If You're Not a Super Light Sleeper
I really like this fan...the design, the look and the performance. The only issue/complaint I have is the power light display is pretty bright and there's one for power, one for oscillating, and one for the type of air flow (i.e., normal, natural, sleep). So that's 3 potential lights shining at one time which can get pretty bright if you're using it at night. It reminds me of a spotlight shining from the outside. Two of the lights are a bright green and the light for oscillating is blue. They don't really shine colors, it just seems like one big spot light, shining past me every so often (if it's on oscillate). If you can live with that however, (I'm still deciding), the fan is very nice. It has that sleek look that you'd expect from Brookstone and a cute little fully operational remote. For $100 if you're into gadgets, it's worth it. If you're just looking for something to keep you cool, I'm sure you can find something cheaper that works just as well and won't illuminate your entire bedroom!

Not a high quality product
Within the first 2 weeks after I got this fan, it developed this annoying rattling sound, which made it unusable to me. For as much as this fan costs, it is not constructed out of high quality materials. As mentioned in the other reviews, the LEDs are really bright and will bother you if you are sensitive to light while you are trying to sleep. My other major compliant is the remote control. You have to point the remote directly at the little receiver on the fan for it to pick up the signal. I ended up have to push the buttons on the remote about 10 times before the fan responds. If this fan is in your price range, I would recommend looking for a higher quality fan. My fan is going back to the store!

expensive
I bought this fan over a year ago and have no real complaints other than the bright LEDs mentioned by the previous reviewer. Why only 3 stars? The steep price. For $100, you can probably buy two tower fans from the competitors that will do the same thing. But the Brookstone fan is much taller than the cheaper ones and it's backed by their lifetime warranty.
