IF ONLY THERE WERE A "PEOPLE RESTORER"!!!, 5
IF ONLY THERE WERE A PEOPLE RESTORER? I would not be permanently convalescing and writing reviews about oil treatments, movies, classical music and good books.

Question: Why are otherwise intelligent people interested in getting inside their car's engine and somehow affecting it?

Answer: I have no idea.

NEVERTHELESS:

Without a doubt, this is a super hi-performance oil additive! According to their website and from my experience using "Restore" over the past 3 years, I can tell you that the only difference between this 6 cylinder product and the 8 and 4 cylinder products is the amount of fluid product you get. This 6 cylinder product is 15 oz., the 8 cyl. product is 19 oz. and the 4 cyl. product is 11 oz., to approximate the differences in engine displacement.

WHAT THE PRODUCT CLAIMS:

Regardless of the size of the can, this product claims to be the only product that contains "RESTORE'S" proprietary CSL formula. They claim that "CSL" possesses unique properties that will "fill in" and "seal micro-leaks" in the "cylinder wall" of your engine and mine. They claim the effect of sealing these "micro-leaks" is the elimination of "blow-by", higher engine compression, and more apparent horsepower that we can feel.

WHAT I HAVE NOTICED AFTER 3 YEARS OF INTENSIVE USE:

After years of using oil additives which increase viscosity and the risk of blowing oil seals in the engine [I've done that.], I tried this product. It does not increase viscosity, but it does increase the gas mileage [10-12%] and the performance of my 1998 V6 Plymouth Voyager which now has almost 140,000 miles on it. Also, it quieted the noisy lifters and made the engine much easier to turn over on very cold mornings.

During the summers, I do use a viscosity-increasing additive ["NO SMOKE"] which I find to be better at reducing the engine's tendency to burn a little oil [quart every 2,000 miles], especially at high speeds for sustained periods. Having used this product for several years I do feel comfortable using "Restore" in cold weather. On the plus side, I have also noticed that the benefit of using this treatment lasts at least several months after running the car without it, and I gauge this by the decline in gas mileage that typically does not occur for at least 4,000 miles of driving without it.

Having said that, "Restore" increases gas mileage and is better in cold weather in every way. Now that Old Man Winter is nearly here again, I'll be repurchasing the little silver can very soon. Brrr!

"Restore" Really Does Restore Your Engine's Power!5
Restore is an engine additive that will restore your engine's power to almost a "brand-new" condition. I know this sounds fantastic, but it's been true for me. I have a 1997 Ford Expedition with over 120,000 miles. I noticed the engine had lost its zip in terms of acceleration compared to when it was brand new. I put in some Restore at an oil change and within a couple hundred miles, I noticed the acceleration had more zippiness than bogginess. Now, after using Restore for over 6,000 mile, my engine feels as though it had the power it had when I first bought it. It also gets the same gas mileage it got back in 1997!

There are several different sizes of Restore additive. Select the size that is appropriate for your car's engine based on the number of cylinders it has, i.e. 4, 6, 8, or 10.

Technically speaking, Restore replaces (or fills in) the fine scratches and wear that occurs on the cylinder walls, thus making for more pressure internally and a greater output from the engine.

I am sold on this product. It will be a regular addtion to my oil crank case with each oil change.

A Great Way To "Restore" Your Vehicle5
For the past 4-5 years, I have driven a 1992 Ford F-150 that now has 117,000 miles on it. Each of those years, I have used a can of Restore after every oil change. Suffice it to say, I have never had any engine problems with my vehicle and have noticed cleaner engine running.

I would recommend this product (in either 4, 6, or 8 cylinder formula) to any vehicle owner who wants to get the most out of their engine performance. Despite my vehicle's "advancing age", I am convinced that rust will doom it long before engine burnout, in no small part due to this product.
