This house is designed specifically for a cat - not too big, not too small. The six inch round door with its vinyl flap protector not only looks adorable but also helps keep out wind and rain. The house comes in seven, predrilled, easy to assemble panels.

Optional Insulation: Thermal-Ply Radiant Barrier: Thermal-Ply blocks radiant energy in both summer and winter conditions. It blocks as much as 93% of radiation (summer heat gain) and 50% to 70% of winter heat loss through the ceiling and roof. The floor, ceiling and side walls are all insulated. To ensure long term duarbility from chewing and clawing, the sidewall insulation is protected by a lightweight mahogany plywood liner.

cute but too small
This was difficult to assemble with a regular screwdriver...I didnt have a power screwdriver. I was a bit disappointed...I didnt understand directions so well..they are hard to read. There is an extra screw and no directions as to what this one is for. Also, this particular house is very small inside...I think it looks great. I was hoping it would be small but at least fit a second cat if cats wanted to snuggle. Even for one cat, it is too small. There is not much competition for this house...if anyone knows of another company that sells such an insulated cedar house, let me know. I have 5 cats and really need a decent house. I think this company has nice houses, although out of my price range. And I really wasnt happy with the limited instructions and the way it fits together..seems weak and incomplete.
