Doesn't really prevent ALL weeds3
Though this is a great product overall - it's nice looking, it's easy to install (cuts with scissors)... it does not prevent crab grass from growing right through. I have several flower beds bordered with this stuff, and crab grass comes right up through it. Though this will securely anchor your fakey mulch to the ground, if you try to yank the grass out that's grown through, you end up pulling the whole length of edging up (annoying). You can, though, pretty safely spray a 'kill all' on the intruders, with less of a chance of getting it on your wanted plants.
