Fast Growing Tomatos
I love these cloches! For the last couple years I have had lousy tomato plants due to increased shade over my garden (the cursed redwoods!). I live in the foothills of coastal mountains and I don't get consistently warm temperatures. I put these cloches over my tomato cages and placed them over my baby tomato plants and then filled the cloches with water. I did this the first week of April. It is now May 12th and my plants are growing above the cloches and there are flowers all over them. This is amazing growth! Last summer I might have been able to eat a few fried green tomatos in August. I am going to leave the cloches on over the metal cages. Be careful if you do this though. I sprung one leak in one of the cloche panels from a metal point on the cage. I will let you know how my plants finaly turned out in August. So far, I am very impressed!

I love these things!
I use these every year and have nothing but good things to say about them. I leave them on through the entire growing season so I don't damage the plants in an effort to remove them and they don't need to be refilled that often so they aren't a bother. They have taken a lot of the early planting worries away and are a must for anybody serious about growing great tomatoes.
