Fantastic5
I love this pan. My parents bought this for me when I was complaining how hard it was to make "one-skillet" meals in a 9 or 10-inch (I forget which) actual skillet - you know, the ones that are wider at the top and narrower at the bottom, with sloped sides? I was always slopping ingredients out over my stove, which was a major pain. Also, our stove is not quite level, so if you had to add a couple cups of water to a recipe or something, the water level was dangerously close to the top of one side of my pan, so if you weren't super-careful while stirring or moving, you would end up with liquid going down into the burner.

Christmas arrived, and voila, I have my new favorite pan! It's very large, but it seems to heat evenly when using my large burner on my stove - it's great for things like browning chicken, as well as making stuffing, "helper" meals, and skillet meals. The lid fits tightly, and you can use this in the oven (there is a maximum temperature - I believe it was up to 375, but please don't take my word for it - read your literature that comes with it) - just remember to use a pot holder when taking it out! The handle doesn't seem to get too hot with stove use, though I will usually use a towel to transport it from the stove to the table just in case. Plus it's Farberware and nonstick, which is always a good buy in my opinion!
