Very potent acidophilus!
Whenever I take antibiotics, I always get a yeast infection -- unless I take acidophilus. PB 8 Pro-Biotic Acidophilus has 14 billion live cultures, making it one of the more potent products available. If I take four capsules a day (two in morning; two in the evening), during my course of antibiotics, I can always avoid the infection. However, to get this benefit, I have to start taking this the same day I start the antibiotics.

A few helps to help acidophilus work better for you -- take your dose on an empty stomach (at least 30 minutes before or two hours after you eat); if you already take acidophilus daily, double your dose whenever a situation arises that would normally put you at risk for yeast; take the acidophilus AT LEAST one week after you finish antibiotics; and avoid sugar and other simple starches (candida feeds off those).
