Product Description

Did you know that every mattress needs a Protect-A-Bed Mattress Protector? FACT: Every night the human body loses a liter of body fluids through the skin pores and mouth, as well as millions of skin flakes. Unprotected mattresses thereby create the perfect breeding ground for bacteria and dust mites (a major cause of asthma, eczema and rhinitis). You can control this by fitting a Protect-A-Bed Premium Mattress Protector, which is also especially helpful in cases of incontinence. This fitted sheet style pad is sized to even fit pillow-top mattresses comfortably. Its cotton, terry-cloth fabric toplayer is soft and comfortable under your sheets. Guaranteed against leaks or tears for 10 years or the factory will replace the pad at no cost. (Full Size: 54x75x14 in.) Wash before use for best results. Do not bleach or dry clean.

Customer Reviews

Waterproof Mattress Protector3
I reviewed lots of mattress pads and am pretty satisfied. The cover itself is fairly thin. It's definitely not luxurious. However, it is made out of breathable material and will fit over any mattress -- even extra deep. And good news, it doesn't make the crinkly sound that many covers do. Moreover, you don't feel as though you're sleeping on on a garbage bag. Basically, once it's on, you won't notice it, which is a good thing. For the price, it's a good value.

Great mattress protector5
We bought this mattress protector for our daughter's new big girl bed. It came recommended from the mattress store but was much cheaper online. The quality is very good and the protector has had no problems with washing so far. The material is very thin and is not vinyl so it does not make you hot to sleep on it. It fits on the bed like a fitted sheet so there are no problems with it moving around. Our mattress is fairly plush and the protector fits it perfectly. So far it has had no problems protecting the mattress from leaks. Would highly recommend this product.

Protectabed matress covers5
I was introduced to Protectabed several years ago. I've had them on our bed and the guest bed for at least five years now. Originally I bought them because my elderly dog was incontinent and I didn't want to kick her out of bed because of it. They do what they are intended to do, protect the bed from wetness. Ours has been washed many times over the past five years and it is still in great shape. I just bought two more now for my daughter's big girl bed (one for a back up). Yeah, it's not a luxurious mattress pad, it's a thin sheet of terry cloth with a latex backing, but I knew that before I bought my first one because I had seen them on display at a mattress store. I actually use a quilted pad over the protectabed for the padded feeling, but know that it's there to keep my mattress dry in case of an accident. My favorite part about them is that people don't know they are there (i.e. no plastic crinkling under you like we used to get at grandma's house growing up). I recommend them to everyone I have any kind of bedding conversation with. I'm trying to get my sister to buy one for her bed too, she has spiteful cats that like to mark her bed when they don't get the attention they want...another great use for this pad. I got another friend to buy one because of his allergies, he was sleeping on a hand-me-down mattress from a house that had pets and it was making him miserable. I tried to get him to buy a new mattress, but he was too cheap, so I talked him into buying one of these, and he says he sleeps so much better now.
