For those who do not need iron, at any age
These vitamins are for those who do not need iron, at any age. So these are not just for seniors. Adult men and anyone over the age of 50 do not need iron. Iron is for children and for menstruating women. But Centrum Silver contains tons of vitamins and minerals other than iron. I recommend Centrum Silver for adult men and post menopausal women or women with hysterectomies, at any age, because these people should not be ingesting iron.

It hurts!
I used the Regular Centrum formula (A to Zinc with Lycopene, Lutein, etc), for several years, and was very satisfied, and never had any adverse issues. As I'm over 50, My wife recently picked up a bottle of the Centrum Silver for me. From the first time I used it, I experienced a stomach ache every time, starting 10 - 15 minutes after taking it, and lasting anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes. One time was accompanied by moderate nausea.

I've tried taking it morning, evening, with and without food, and always get the same reaction. With the old formula, it didn't matter how or when I took it. After doing a little research on the web, I was actually relieved to see that it's not just me who's having this same reaction. Apparently it's pretty common.

Covering expiration date of vitamins is a no-no.
While the product itself is OK, I just received my order from DAB and discovered that they cover the expiration date of the vitamins with a sticker. Trying to remove the sticker only rips the label making it impossible to read the expiration date of the product. Very bad idea.
