Check those ounces!
Although these delightful bowls do not come close to holding the 24 ounces advertised, (closer to 20 oz), they are nevertheless a very good deal at 4 for $19.99. I own several of these bowls in Winterberry, Filigree and also Grapevine patterns. I love the versatility. They make not only a generous-sized serving of soup or cereal but can be used for serving pieces for smaller side dishes. I love the design and they certainly compliment the Winterberry collection favorably. Although one reviewer stated she received broken dishes, I have ordered numerous Pfaltzgraff items through Amazon and have not had any broken items. As with other Pfaltzgraff pottery, everything seems to be made in China now and is not of the superior quality that their pottery enjoyed when made in the USA. Since I began my Winterberry collection several years before the advent of the "made in China" items, there is a noticeable difference in quality, color of the glaze and thickness of the pottery itself in nearly every piece that I have received recently. Therefore, I give this item a 4 star rating instead of 5. Even though the quality is not up to their previous standards, Pfaltzgraff continues to provide good quality products and these bowls are a charming addition.

Broken Dishes
These bowls are wonderful - a great addition to my Winterberry collection, however they came packaged in the same packaging as they would in store, so during shipment they were broken. Amazon was great to send replacements, but some of those were broken too. I have finally received all dishes I ordered, but beware of receiving broken dishes.

24 Ounce Deep Soup/Ceral Bowls
Great size bowls but was disappointed to find that when they were delivered that 1 complete box of the 2 that I ordered was damaged. Asked for a replacement on them to find that they didn't have any left but why was it still being offered on line at the same time. I was refunded for the 1 box right away but would have preferred getting them, instead had to purchase them elseware. Happy that all the dishes came safe & sound, I guess it could have been worse.
