I can't get the hinges to work at all. I am hiring someone to put them up so maybe they can figure it out.

the item was just as i had wanted....i used them to support a cabinet door that i had turned horizontally and used over a mircowave...i had seen this done on a display at lowes...installation was tricky, but that was because of unclear instructions - at least unclear to me!!
