These needles are exclusively distributed by "Oriental Touch LLC" at Amazon under the brand name of "Stanwood". They are the best we have ever made. They are first sanded super smooth using the finest sanding paper. Then they are lightly hand rubbed with a thin layer of wax to improve the smoothness. While feeling super smooth, one can still sense the texture of bamboo. That makes them very different than lacquered needles. Needle points are uniformly shaped as shown in the picture. Their smoothness, stiffness, and overall quality can meet or beat any world class brands. Great needles for the price
I have been knitting a while now, and I cannot tell you how much money I have spent on needles to date.I wish I had known about these months ago! While the needles are not the same quality as some other brands, they are amazing for the price.

I was spending $10 and more a pair for bamboo needles elsewhere, so to get and entire set, including hard to find sizes, for this price is outstanding. Mine were also sharp at the point and I have been knitting right along without any problem.

I will be ordering the other sets from amazon.

Great set
This is an excellent value for what you get. I have ordered full sets of straights in 9" & 13", and 3 sets of circulars in 17", 29" and 36", including a set of their crochet needles. I love that I am well-equipped for almost any project without having to wonder if I have the right size needle. (Nothing is more frustrating than getting ready to start a project, then realizing you don't have the right equipment.) Though the needles have a bit of "drag" when you first start using them, with consistent use and the skin oils in your fingertips, it quickly goes away, then they become very polished in feeling. I love my sets and would highly recommend. If I have one drawback, it's the cost of shipping - it was almost $30 to ship about four sets of needles. If I have noticed the cost of shipping, I may have changed my mind. However, the product itself is wonderful!

Great price, good product
Honestly, these are not the best quality needles I've ever used. They feel a tad bit flimsy and less polished than the pricier bamboo needles. But for the price, it is absolutely worth it to have a pair of every size you'll ever want on hand at all times. My only real grievance is with myself and not the product--I didn't realize that 29-inch needles are longer than what I can use for most of the children's hats I want to make. So when I sat down to knit a hat for my daughter and cast on my stitches, I found the 29" needles to be useless. Pay better attention to the sizing than I did, and you'll be happy with the product for the money.
