Touch the ornament to turn Christmas tree lights on and off. Controls up to 1200 miniature light bulbs (600 watts max.). Simply hang tree lights according to the manufacturer's directions. Plug Christmas tree lights into an outlet to make sure they work. Attach one end of the ornament cord to the brass arm found on the bottom of the converter and the opposite end to the ornament. Plug the tree lights into converter unit. Place the ornament in a convenient location on your Christmas tree. Plug the converter into a wall outlet. Wait a moment, then touch the ornament to turn on/off lights.

I was very disappointed in this pricey but not very functional on/off switch. It simply didn't work--plug was wrong "size".
