Old faithfuls4
I've been using the same pair of pink aluminum Boye US 8's for 25+ years.

I don't mind Boyes but the polished aluminum can be a little slippery and difficult to hold onto (I have minor problems with my hands), or have a tendency to let stitches slip off when you don't want them to, in some situations. I also find the metal-on-metal noise they make kind of irritating. It hasn't been a serious problem, but I like the Susan Bates Quicksilvers better; they're just a hair less slippery, and are also inexpensive.
