One of the best children's CD's out there5
This is hands-down one of the best CD's for kids. Our two year old loves every song on here, and demands repeats...which we willingly oblige because we enjoy it as much as she does! We've purchased several copies for friends and they all love it, too.

Better Even Than Fig Newmans5
We've played this CD literally hundreds of times straight through for our baby--he's now 15 months old and we all know the songs by heart. The variety is the best part... Simon loves to dance to the faster tunes like Bed Bug Bounce and then goes all limp and dreamy when the Dolphin Song comes on. The songs are witty enough and the musical styles sufficiently varied to keep things fresh for the grownups.

This CD has consistently been able to calm Simon when he's fussy, help him sleep when he's overtired, make him dance when he's happy, and give us some peace when we need it. Mr. Weakland, wherever you are, thanks!

Broad Appeal5
This is my son's absolute favorite CD. He's one and a half. It also happens to be mine - and I'm forty-nine! Mr. Weakland's wacky sense of humor permeates every song. Whereas the clever wordplay and comedic performances appeal to me, my son Nicholas gets off on the very sophisticated - yet somehow traditional arrangements. He just can't stop dancing. The variety in Mr. Weakland's musicianship is truly exceptional! I'd classify his style of music as country/folk/rock/bluesy/pop/jazz/modern. This CD can be enjoyed on many levels - it's educational, raucously funny and just plain toe-tapping fun. I'd love to see these songs put to some animated videos. They'd be hysterical!
