Product Description

Worm composting is an incredibly efficient way to convert kitchen scraps into nutrient-rich compost for your garden. But sorting out the undigested scraps can be messy and inconvenient. The Worm Factory automatically separates food scraps from finished compost. Simply fill the bottom tray with red wiggler worms, bedding and food scraps. As the worms finish digesting, they will migrate upward into the tray above, leaving rich castings behind. In full operation, the Worm Factory houses 10,000 to 12,000 worms, consumes 5 to 8 pounds of food a day, allowing you to harvest a full try of castings per month. Each Worm Factory comes with full instructions to get you started. The Worm Factory is made in the U.S.A., constructed from high quality recycled plastic, with a limited 5 year warranty on materials and workmanship. It is very simple to assemble and can be stored in or outside. Colors: Black and Terracotta

Customer Reviews

Makes composting easy in condo/apartment5
I am really glad I bought this system rather than trying to compost in a storage tote. The trays are easy to move around. The fluid collection and drain work very well. As long as lid is on, no detectable smells. Fits in the corner of the kitchen during winter or on the patio during good weather.

Really like this5
Really like this worm composter as it's cute & very functional. Works well indoors or outside.

worm home4
Because I live in the desert, think the worms try to get towards the drain with water to be cool and some drown in the bottom. Dead worms sometimes clog the drain so you can't pour out the worm tea. The worms do seem to thrive in the home, though.
