Customer Reviews
How to effectively use the voice dialing of the PAMA Omega Bluetooth Speakerphone.
The voice dialling feature of the PAMA Omega is completely dependent on the software in the mobile phone. Although the user presses a button on the hands free to activate voice dialling, the voice recognition is actually processed by the mobile phone.
There are some tips on how make voice dialling work for the PAMA Omega Handsfree Visor Car Kit.
1) When recording voice tags in your mobile phone, please ensure that you are in a similar environment to that in which you will be using the voice dialling feature. Ideally, record your voice tags in your car (when you are not driving ! )
2) When recording a voice tag for your contacts, always try to use longer syllables - this makes detection of the voice tag easier for your mobile phone. For example, instead of recording "JOHN" try to use a longer voice tag such as "JOHN HOME" or "JOHN CELLPHONE" - this will help your phone to recognise the correct name and not confuse it with similar sounding names such as "JIM".
Great handsfree product!
I have tried a few bluetooth handsfree car kit, and I would like to say
this one is the best one. It has easy to see caller ID display, reasonablely long stand by time and the best thing I like is the
sound quality. I would highly recommend this one.
Bunch of Little Issues
I bought two units, but only used one. I am sending both back with several small to medium problems.
1. Owners manual is in tiny print. Very hard to read.
2. Customer service number is in England.
3. Owners manual does not define some terms that they refer to, or give you an overview on how to use the Pama Omega.
4. People on other end continuously complain that they can't understand.
I speak in a loud clear voice.
5. Advertising claims it is easy to download your adress book, but not on many phones where you must do it number by number. I never did figure out how.
Except for these issues, it sure looks nice.
