Awesome Stroller
As a father of 5, we have had more strollers than I can count. They were all hard to steer, ugly, plasticy, ugly, stained and ugly. The Quinny Buzz is so easy to move around. You can turn on a dime. We bought one in England and love it. It's aluminum frame is strong and light. In addition, we love the Dreami bassinet and the Maxi-Cosi car seat that work with it. Plus it looks like a piece of modern art. It has a very cool design. We are so impressed that we are going to buy the Quinny Zapp for the airplane. Definitely would recommend this stroller to the most discerning buyer.
Great Stroller--Love it!
I have had this stroller since last summer and I take it everywhere I go!! I love it. What I love the most is the way it steers---it is so easy to push whether you're shopping in a mall or walking on a rugged sidewalk. The other features that I love are the seat options--facing forward or backward, option for the bassinet or carseat and I LOVE the adjustable handlebar. Sometimes I have on flats and sometimes heels, but either way the handle is always perfect. Opening and closing is simple and easy--takes just a few second to even close. I have a minivan and my hubby drives an Acura MDX, so we've never had a problem with space.
I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 for the following reasons:
--The back wheels are extremely wide and I get caught on things constantly. It happens almost everytime I use it. There are definitely spaces and aisles it will not fit through.
--The storage space underneath is a joke. It is so so small and pretty much holds nothing. Even when I put something in it, the basket is so shallow that i'm scared stuff will fall out of it.
Those are the single two downfalls that I really have an issue with. Other than that the stroller is perfect---and I think it pushes just as easy if not easier than the Bugaboo. It is definitely worth the money! Enjoy!
All About Image!
Pros:
* This is one of the coolest looking strollers out there, and every where I go with it, people come up and ask me about it.
* it is incredibly maneuvrable and easy to push. I can easily push it with one hand (and hold my coffee in the other!). It's also easy going through doors because I can hold the door with one hand and flip the stroller through with the other.
* the telescoping handle allows you to have it quite high and it is very comfortable for walking.
* one button spring release - I forgot how hard it could be to open a stroller - I simply press the button and it pops into position!
* adaptability: you can use the bassinet, the maxi cosi car seat, the regular seat (forward or rear facing)
* handling: it handles cobblestones well and is easy to bounce up and down stairs
* It is a great way to travel with an infant since you will have both the stroller and car seat all together, but I am not sure that I will travel with it now that my son is outgrowing his car seat.
Cons:
* The basket that hangs under is small and difficult to put things in.
* everything (except opening the stroller), seems to require two hands (which means you really need three!). For example, you must press your thumbs on opposite sides and at the same time lift or tilt the seat. I am sure this is a safety feature, but it can be awkward to use two hands to recline the seat because then you don't have a hand free to put it in position.
* the covers are difficult to remove for cleaning
* The recline positions basically seem to be up or completely flat. Even though there are 3 positions in the forward facing position - in reality it is just up and down since the 2 down positions are so close to each other. There is no intermediate position.
* it is still pretty large when folded, and I am now looking for a smaller stroller.
****** The straps on the regular seat do not extend very long. My 8 month old son is already at the max!! I can attach the straps to a higher position, but I cannot lengthen them anymore.
Recommendation:
This is great if you do a lot of walking and have a car with a lot of trunk space (I can't put anything else in my trunk when the stroller is there). I also suggest you find out if the strap issue has been resolved because I really don't know how I will be able to use the stroller very long seeing how short the straps are.
