Amazon.com Product Description
Adventure and exploration await when your child is in the driver's seat of a Fisher Price Power Wheels vehicle! The Fisher Price Power Wheels Barbie Jammin' Jeep is a battery-operated ride-on vehicle that your child can really drive. Kids will gain a real sense of independence playing "grown up" driving a "real" car, and they can have great fun practicing coordination skills by steering, stopping, and driving in reverse.

Barbie Jammin’ Jeep
Bright colors, rugged tires, and room for two.
Designed for children ages 3 to about 6, the Barbie Jammin' Jeep looks just like a real Jeep. And it operates with a real steering wheel and a foot pedal. Powered by a rechargeable 12-volt battery, the Jeep can drive up to 5mph. The car is equipped to travel a max of only 2.5mph when your child is a beginning driver, but as they become more experienced, you can remove the safety mechanism to release maximum speed. The vehicle also features a specially designed safety braking system, which automatically stops the vehicle when the foot is removed from the pedal. The Jeep can also go in reverse at up to 2.5mph. While not necessarily all-terrain, this vehicle can go over hard surfaces and grass.

Jeep details
Real working doors are just one of the many features of this ride-on.
Everyone knows that Barbie travels in style and this Jeep certainly lives up to her standards. There’s a real-working FM radio to give your ride a soundtrack, a digital clock to ensure you’re not late for your next appointment, doors that really open and close, and a rear storage area to transport all your cool Barbie gear. There's also room for a friend with a passenger seat (the Jeep’s maximum weight limit is 130 pounds).

The Barbie Jammin' Jeep requires a 12-volt rechargeable battery designed specifically for this toy, which is included with the ride-on (as well as its battery charger). Four C batteries are required to operate the FM radio, but are not included. This Power Wheels toy is covered by a limited 1-year "Bumper-to-Bumper" warranty from the manufacturer. Adult assembly and direct adult supervision are required.

Great Learning Toy5
We bought this item for our granddaughter's 3rd birthday. It is easy to learn to drive for a 3 year old. She gives her 1 year old brother rides in it, and he sits still while his big sister drives. She has pretty much mastered the stearing. The radio is great too. It comes in clear, and has the ability to scan for stations. It has velcro, pretend, seatbelts which is a fantastic learning tool. The children know they can't drive/ride in it until the seatbelts are fastened. Everything works wonderfully. We have a large, grassy, yard. It has a lot of bumps in it, and the Barbie Jammin' Jeep has no problems moving about in it. I highly recommend this product, especially for a 3 year old. We are undecided who has more fun...the children driving/riding in it, or the grandparents watching it.

Only needs one option5
I bought this for 3 year old Olivia....it was her 3rd birthday.

The Jeep took me 2 1/2 hours to but together......as I put it together I could see that this is a solid and tough toy!!

The only thing that is wrong with this Jeep... the plastic tires....They have a tough time getting any traction on other than smooth surfaces.

I went on ebay and bought the traction grips for the Power Wheel line......what u get is a old sliced rubber tire tube, that u stretch over the plastic tires of the Barbie Jeep. THEN THE JEEP WILL CLIMB A MOUNTAIN!!!!

Buy this Jeep!!!! But add some sort of rubber to the slick plastic tires!!...

This thing is fast!5
This is a tough toy. My daughter (age 3 upon receiving the jeep and almost age 4 now) and her friends have driven this thing through ditches and into trees and sheds. The jeep happily keeps on going as if nothing happened.
Now remember that there is the option to increase the speed from 2.5 miles per hour to 5 mph. If you thought that the 2.5mph speed was pretty quick, wait until you see the 5mph! All I have to say is that you better have a pretty large yard and no traffic around, because you have to sprint full out to catch up while your 3 year old is laughing at you. We have had some good times with this jeep and I would recommend it to anyone with a 3.5 or 4 year old.
The only negatives: the radio wouldn't turn off so we just let the battery's run out and said that it was broken.
-We live on a dirt lot and if there is an incline, the tires just spin out because they are smooth plastic. (The rubber add-ons sound like a good idea).

Have fun
