functional and beautiful
I have been on a mission to replace all the table wear in our home with lead free, not made in china pieces. these pitchers from caleca have passed the lead test, and are wonderful. I have two and use one for water the other for juice at breakfast. I have no dripping issues. the pattern is hand painted like all caleca, and works well with my casafina, and pinzon pieces. I have found this pitcher to be dishwasher safe and very sturdy.

Fantastic utensil holder. Probably a good pitcher, too.
The price on this pitcher was so reasonable and caleca quality is so good, it was a no-brainer for a utensil holder sitting out on the counter close to the stove. Right size & weight, also. Sturdy and attractive. I recommend this to anyone looking for a very good container for their cooking stuff. Just pick a pattern that you like.

Pretty, but drips every time
I bought this to use after I cracked several glass pitchers by pouring in hot water into a cold pitcher, I figured this one would be able to handle the temp difference. Never got to try it out, everytime I poured something from the pitcher, a straight line of liquid ran down the side. Fortunantely, I did not pay but $8 for it, so I will use it as decoration in the basement! At least until the next yard sale.
