Amazon.com Product Description
Sink into superior sheets that are more than just cotton-they're Supima cotton. With an extra-long-staple length of 1-3/8 inches or more, Supima cotton fibers are produced in the U.S.A. by certified Supima cotton growers. Woven with a luxurious 500 threads of Supima cotton per square inch, this queen set includes flat and fitted sheets and two pillowcases. The set pairs smoothly with other Pinzon solid and printed bedding and is offered in a choice of colors and sizes. The sheets accessorize easily and are safe to clean at home in the washer and dryer. The fitted sheet has 15-1/2-inch corners to fit deep mattresses, and it measures 78 by 80 inches. The flat sheet is 118 by 102 inches and the pillowcases are 20 by 41 inches, and both are finished with stylish 6-inch hems.

Definition of Supima Cotton:
Supremely soft and durable, Supima fabrics are woven from extra long, strong cotton fibers grown in the USA. The brand name ""Supima"" is an abbreviation for "superior Pima," and Pima is the name given for extra-long-staple (ELS) cotton grown in select areas of the southwestern U.S. and a few other locations worldwide. Cotton is considered to be ELS or Pima if its staple length, or fiber, is at least 1-3/8 inches. Its fineness and longer staple make Pima a premium cotton fiber used to spin finer count yarns, which in turn can be knitted or woven into soft, fine, and luxurious fabrics. The "Supima" brand name is owned by the Supima non-profit organization comprised of American Pima cotton growers from Arizona, California, New Mexico and Texas. Therefore, the name Supima is used to promote products made purely of 100-percent American Pima cotton grown in these regions. Apparel and textile mills and manufacturers earn licenses from the Supima organization so they can use the Supima name on their products. This trademark is a consumer's only guarantee that a product is made of 100-percent American Pima cotton.

Customer Reviews

White is not the same as the colors!1
I ordered 3 sets of these sheets, two in king size (white and cream) and 1 in Queen (sage).

The cream & sage are heavenly, soft, silkly, beautiful.

The white set is not nearly as nice. It was also packaged differently and had a made in China tag, while the others said made in Portugal.

Since this is Amazon's own 'store brand', the labelling leaves a lot to be desired.

The packages just say "Pinzon Bedding", no size markings, no description of what the item is, nada.

The package was a different size and shape, as well. Stupid me, I didn't pay close enough attention before I opened them all and washed them or I would have sent back the white set.

Watch out..if you get a set with a zippered pouch, send them back, they're not the same.

The good ones have just an adhesive flap on them.

Lousy Sheets1
I agree with the previous reviewer. The white sheets I bought are pretty lousy. There is nothing to say they are what they say they are. I own Supima sheets and these are not Supima. What they are is going back. ;-} Don't buy the white sheets!!

Silver Grey also made in China1
I'm thankful for these reviews as the sheets I just received said "Made in China." I opened the package (with zipper) and felt inside at the sheets and they were DEFINITELY not "pima" quality. I own several pima shirts and would never put these sheets near my body. I think Amazon has some explaining to do....
