Sheets look ok although baby not here yet!
My husband and I are expecting a baby. We have bought a crib with no drop sides and I was concerned about the labor involved in changing sheets regularly given the mattress is harder to access in these cribs. When we discovered these sheets on Amazon we thought they might just do the job as theoretically only the top of the sheet set needs to be unzippered and washed if baby makes a mess in the bed. Obviously I am happy to wash the entire sheet set regularly but in the middle of the night I'd rather just replace the top of the sheet if I can get away with it.

When the sheets arrived, I was slightly disappointed to find them a trifle too big for the crib mattress. I still wanted to keep them though and I decided to sew a little elastic to the underneath of the base portion of the sheets to tighten up the fit.

Fortunately, I washed these items before doing any sewing. They shrank to the perfect size in the wash and dry. (Washed in cold water and dried using a low setting in the dryer).

These sheets now fit my standard crib mattress (DaVinci Twilight 6" Crib Mattress) perfectly.

I can't give these sheets 5*'s because I haven't yet actually used them and I was surprised that such expensive sheets shrank. However, I am absolutely delighted at the good fit now so really cannot complain!

The Best Thing to Come Along For Babies and Moms!
I never write reviews on items, but I had to write one about these zipper sheets. they are, hands down, the best thing that I have encountered as far as baby gear goes...if you don't buy anything else for yourself or an expectant mom, buy these! They had to be invented by a mom who was going crazy taking a normal fitted sheet off a crib mattress, which involves removing a bumper, pulling the entire mattress out of the crib, then re-assembling the whole thing...not fun at 2AM with a crying baby! When I found these, I immediately ordered them for myself...and have been ordering them for every girlfriend who is having a baby ever since! They are worth every penny. Order the sheet set, then one extra top sheet--best price I've found on these is on Amazon. We have never used any other sheets!!

I've purchased several of these sheet sets for young mothers and they rave about the convenience the sheets offer, especially when changing a soiled crib sheet at night! Wish these had been around 30 years ago!
