The Knitting Board scarf kit includes a 10" knitting board and hook, blue 100% Peruvian Wool/Alpaca yarn, scarf pattern and How-to DVD. The knitting board is a centuries old hand knitting tool that creates a beautiful, double knit. Make cozy, warm scarves quickly and easily. A simple weave and hook process makes knitting fun and easy. The knitting boards are made of solid kiln dried hardwood by master craftsmen, and sanded to a smooth finish. The knitting needles are steel pins with small ball tips, spaced 3/8" apart, and steel hardware securing the boards. Create many different looks with one board using fine and bulky yarns. The knitting board has adjustable wood spacers with (3) settings of 1/2", 1" and 1 1/4". This allows the knitter to change the spacing between the boards and create different effects. You can use any weight of yarn from lacy fingering yarns to thick wools and blends. The unique recessed surface ensures easy knitting.
