My son was 10 feet tall!5
My eleven year old son was 10 feet tall when he received this robo-plane. Though it is made of a cushiony foam material, I was surprised at the durability. My son crashed this over and over as he was getting the hang of flying it, and it came through without a scratch.

Very fast, just like the videos show, and once in the air...Wow! A very cool toy!

Didn't work out of the box1
We were SO incredibly excited about this toy. This was to be my son's BIG birthday present. We carefully followed each step in the directions, charged it for an hour, and NOTHING. We tested the power to check that the remote control batteries were in correctly, but no power at all. I know other people are have trouble with this plane as well. I am a member of a message board where several of us have purchased this product, and many of them are returning them. Those who did get them to work, said that they were broken in a matter of minutes. I'm boxing mine up tomorrow...

XPV R.A.D. Robotic Air Defense Blue 49 MHz 1
I purchased two of these (one red and one blue) for Christmas so my 11 year old son and I could fly them together. When they arrived they looked like they were very cheaply made out of foam and thin plastic. I decided to give it a try anyway assuming that it needed to be lightweight to fly.

We took them out to the park and my son was very excited. We quickly found out that they are very difficult to keep in the air for longer than a few seconds. My son's got off the ground twice (3 seconds each time) and crashed to the ground (grass) both times. After the second flight/crash the plastic propeller guard, one of the propellers, and part of the foam tail broke. Needless to say it was unable to fly anymore. My son was so upset that I let him attempt to fly the other one. The second one broke too a few minutes later and could not fly.
