When several BeoCom 1 or BeoCom 2 handsets share the same base, you have the ability to redirect external calls from one handset to another. Internal calls are free, and all the handsets have access to the same built-in electronic phonebook, which stores up to 200 entries. The phone book updates itself automatically, on all the phones, when you make a change in one. This very convenient feature is refined with the ability to create custom phone books for individual handsets, e.g. the one that belongs to the home office or the teenage daughter.
