Product Description
Wanda explodes with a colorful fury, the first primrose to bloom in the spring. It is the perfect companion to plant with daffodils, keeping them company their entire blooming season! Showy flowers and bronze leaves brighten any shade garden. Blooms spirng and again in the fall. Plant in part-sun or shade, 8" apart. Grows 8-9" tall. We consider it the toughest, hardiest primrose there is, with the way it grows in our OPEN fields. If you don't have large shady areas, just plant it on the north side of any shrub and divide clumps every year after flowers have finished. Hardy in zones 4-9. Primrose also make excellent windowsill plants if it is too cold to plant in your area. They can then be planted outside in the spring!
