Customer Reviews

Best drywall sander I have ever used5
This sander combo was unbelievably good at what it does.

We are removing wallpaper from multiple rooms and going through a lot of patch and drywall paste to to get the walls smooth. 4 gallons in one room alone.

We prepared by purchasing 2 OSHA certified dust masks but they are still in the packaging.

The sander combo removed all visible dust from the air and other than wiping the dust from the walls, there was no mess at all.

I have recommended this to all members of my family and any friends about to start a similar project

this is a cool thing5
This is definitely a cool thing.
It worked very well in my huge kitchen project, I had to sand an entire kitchen (>200 sq ft) walls/ceiling to a flat finish to remove a minor imperfections after the deep skim coating over the drywall (to fix an ugly texture I had and to match some new drywall I put in in some places). No dust and no masks to wear - just as they promised.
The lightweight construction is actually a key. I don't really meant to hummer a nails with it :), and don't want to lift any massive metal handles either. What I suggest is to have a longer hose (even longer that the one that comes with the unit) so the bucket among with the vacuum can be easily placed outside of the house. That is what I did, it was enough hose length in my case. That way - you solve any issues with noise, totally (the most noise came from my beast vacuum anyway).

No more dust mask5
This has been a great product, it cuts down the drywall dust by AT LEAST 95%. I no longer have to wear a dust mask while sanding. There is very little cleanup of the remaining dust.

All I do to clean the unit is BLOW OUT the remaining dust in the suction hose with my air compressor and rinse out the bucket. I was told by a friend who has one that I'm borrowing...DO NOT run water through the suction hose...it will turn the dust in to mud and you will have to get a new suction hose. So again...just BLOW OUT the suction hose with an air compressor.

The hand sander is GREAT! BUT! The pole sander does take some getting use to (it swivels too easily for me) but my wife uses the pole sander it works good.

Here are a couple comments for potential buyers to read. I hope this HONEST review helps you decide. I know I have nothing to gain by telling you how well the Sand & Kleen works for us. I just know I'm not wearing a mask when I sand any longer and there is a lot less mess to clean up.

The guy from North Carolina who returned this produce for a refund...who said it was noisy and 20-30% of the dust escaped. Sorry...but I have to say he is an IDIOT! He just needed to adjust the air pressure and he wouldn't get the whistling noise and like I said in my first line..."it cuts down the drywall dust by AT LEAST 95%".

Also to the guy from (Austin, TX) who broke the pole. Are you part gorilla? How hard were you pushing. Hell...my wife has the right touch for sanding the ceilings with the pole. Sanding dry wall take smooth strokes with even pressure, BUT! I did say, "The pole sander does take some getting use to (it swivels too easily for me) but it works good."

My last comment is to the guy from Frederick, MD who called it an "OVER PRICED PEACE OF JUNK". As the teenage girls today say, "WHAT EVER!" lol, He just wants something for nothing.

My wife and I are renovatiing a 5-bedroom, 150-year old house and our Sand & Kleen has been working great since I bought it...I am also borrowing a second Sand & Kleen...they both work great. Good luck and stay safe to you homeowner doing your own drywalling.
