History of the Textile Mill
At Raj Overseas, workers are still using the Punja Kilim machine, where the movement of their feet control the artistry in their woven designs. One of the first manufacturers of woolen carpet yarn in India, Raj Woolen Industries was formed in 1939 by Mr. Rajeswar Nath and Mr. Vishvnath. In 1991, Raj Overseas was founded as an export division for Raj Woolen Industries. Raj Overseas functions as a fully vertical unit, with all stages of production occurring in house, and original founders and family members are still involved in the business. Today, they are renowned for superior woolen, cotton, and jute floor coverings, which include tufted carpets, hand-woven carpets, flat-weave Kilims, braided rugs, rag rugs, chenille embroidered rugs, and appliqué rugs.

History of the Region
Raj Overseas has its home base in Panipat. Located just over 57 miles north of Delhi, in the northern Indian region of Haryana, Panipat is a city famous for its hand-loomed products. Situated on the banks of the Yamuna river, Panipat is also home to sacred tombs, mosques, and temples rich in historical importance for Indians. Natives and tourists appreciate the Haryana region for its many luxe lake retreats, as well as its beautiful location between the Shiwalik and the Aravali mountain ranges. Panipat and the Haryana region maintain the flavor of ancient times, when kings, queens, princes and princesses ruled the land. Its people have simple tastes and preferences and products from the region reflect dedication to superior quality arising from time-honored techniques.

Don't pay $100 at the nearest home store!5
I began my search for white rugs for our large master bath by shopping around at the nearest home stores. I was shocked at the prices I found especially on the larger (30x50) rug. When I found these rugs on Amazon, I was skeptical but decided to order. I purchased three of these rugs in the three sizes offered here in white. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. The 30x50 inch rug is comparable to the one hundred dollar rugs I found when I started my search at BB&B and LNT.

I haven't had a problem at all with the rugs slipping like another poster. Our floor in our bathroom is tile and the rugs stay put. I have laundered them once and they hold up well.

Not worth the money.2
I bought this as a bathroom rug, not as a bathmat, but that is what they are - there isn't any appreciable latex on the reverse, despite the claims in the description.

The last thing I want to do is to keep rearranging a bathroom rug, unless maybe it's slipping and falling, expecting the rug NOT to move!

The price was just too high for what is essentially an expensive bathmat. I returned this and bought a few nice rugs at Linens & Things for a little more than half the price and much better quality.

I'd just pass on this. It's a shame; I own several items made by Pinzon, and this is the first disappointment.

Disappointed3
I ordered four of these - price was great but when rugs arrived - the color was NOT as pictured - these are not as gunmetal as appearing in pictures - they are grey with a 'greenish' cast - not as thick as I anticipated - very large loops but not cushy on the feet. These would be okay somewhere in the house but I prefer some cushy, thicker rugs in my bathroom - that's just me :) I sent them back and bought some at KMart on sale for $7 and they were actually thicker and more true gray..(my last bathroom rugs were $24 each for the 17 x 20ish size - Royal Velvet so that's what I'm comparing to)...
