I was scepticle but no more
In the begining I wasn't sure about this item so I only purchased one. Our particular problem is flies and it works wonderfully. There isn't an audible "Zap" but it works onthe flies! Now, I'm getting 2 more.

Does Not Do Anything
This unit does NOTHING in regard to controlling insects. Not a single dead bug for almost 2 months of effort! Compare this to my unit that plugs in, I get 20 dead bugs per hour!

Not very powerful as bug zapper
Sent this to my brother who's in the Army in Iraq and needed something to help with the bugs. He said the light is good but the bug zapper is not very powerful and he's in the middle of the desert with full sun. Works ok but not nearly as good as an electric one.
