The bamboo is treated through a special oven-roasting process which caramelizes the sugar in the bamboo, resulting in its beautiful honey color. Bamboo is one of the most renewable resources known. It is more durable and 16% harder than maple, and a third lighter in weight than oak. Dishwasher safe.

Very Nice Spatula
This spatula is very good quality. The finish is nice, no rough edges. I have stir-fried with it at least a dozen times so far, and it does not appear to be stained or discolored. I'm very glad I bought it.
